VaporSolve® 100

VaporSolve® 100 is a specially formulated 100% solids epoxy coating designed for use over concrete with high moisture levels for the purpose of isolating the concrete from moisture sensitive flooring. When used without a primer in a single coat application, it is referred to as the VaporSolve® Basic System. This system should only be used over concrete that has never been treated with reactive silicate curing compounds or densifiers.


VaporSolve 100 has been formulated with low viscosity and excellent substrate wetting capabilities to promote penetration and adhesion. The special hydrophobic curing agent allows for adhesion to damp or wet concrete. This product will cure fully even when applied underwater. In addition, VaporSolve 100 is based on Bisphenol F epoxy which gives the material enhanced chemical crosslinking over products based on standard Bisphenol A epoxy. More crosslinking helps to reduce the coating’s moisture permeability and increases its long term resistance to water and alkalinity.


The material contains no plasticizers, phenols or unreacted amines that could migrate out of the cured coating and trigger osmotic blistering. VaporSolve 100 is available in a fast cure version when quicker turnaround is necessary. The product may be applied at temperatures between 40-100°F.

100% solids epoxies are more prone to adhesion failure than properly formulated water-based epoxies when applied to silicate contaminated concrete. If silicate materials have been previously applied to the concrete, or if the history of the concrete cannot be positively determined, use VaporSolve® Primer underneath VaporSolve 100. The VaporSolve materials are designed to remediate all concrete moisture problems, regardless of severity. These systems may be used in new construction settings when a schedule must be met, yet the concrete is not dry enough to install moisture sensitive flooring. They can also be used over concrete with known moisture problems and over concrete that has been placed without a vapor retarder as a means of preventing future moisture problems.

When used without a primer in a single coat application, it is referred to as the VaporSolve Basic System. This system should only be used over concrete that has never been treated with reactive silicate curing compounds or densifiers.

VaporSolve® FC (Fresh Concrete) 

VaporSolve® FC (Fresh Concrete) is a specially formulated water-based epoxy for use over freshly poured concrete to act as a high-performance concrete curing compound and as a primer under VaporSolve™ 100 material.


VaporSolve® FC has been formulated with very low viscosity and surface tension to ensure excellent substrate wetting, penetration and adhesion. It’s unique chemistry gives it excellent affinity for the moist, alkaline conditions found in freshly poured concrete. Additionally, it’s ability to hold moisture in fresh concrete far exceeds the capabilities of conventional curing compounds and results in better hydrated and stronger concrete.


When applied as a system, VaporSolve® FC and VaporSolve® 100 prevent moisture migration through the concrete slab and allow the application of moisture sensitive flooring after 12 hours. The use of this unique system eliminates the need for a sub-slab vapor retarder as well as the need for shotblasting prior to the application of subsequent flooring or coating.

VaporSolve® Tie Coat

VaporSolve® Tie Coat is a two component, fast drying water-based epoxy formulated for use over non-porous surfaces such as APF's VaporSolve® Moisture Remediation Systems. It insures the adhesion of subsequently applied cementitious overlays. VaporSolve® Tie Coat adheres tenaciously to hard glossy surfaces and provides an excellent bonding surface for the overlay. It dries in 30-60 minutes depending upon job conditions and is safe and easy to use.

Epoxy 600

Epoxy 600 is a low viscosity, 100% solids, high performance resin system designed to give improved chemical resistance over standard Bisphenol A based epoxy materials. This Bisphenol F epoxy modified material provides improved crosslinking and excellent resistance to corrosive food acids, most solvents, 50% sulfuric acid and 15% acetic acid. Epoxy 600 features rapid cure, good troweling characteristics and blush-free cures even in low temperature applications.


Epoxy 600 was formulated for use as an aggregate binder or top coat where service conditions are too severe for general purpose epoxies, but the performance of novolac materials is not

required. Epoxy 600 is especially recommended for use in commercial kitchens. Other areas of use would include food and beverage processing plants, battery rooms, wineries, breweries and dairies.

Epoxy 750

Epoxy 750 has been tested to determine the post cure for emittance (outgassing) of the product. Testing was conducted by NASA for used in their cleanrooms. Epoxy 750 performed better than all other coatings evaluated for post cure emittance (outgassing).


Epoxy 750 provides an outstanding balance of physical strengths and mechanical properties. As a Bisphenol F hybrid material, it has excellent chemical and abrasion resistance, including resistance to food acids, most solvents, sulfuric acid up to 50% and acetic acid up to 15%. Epoxy 750 features a blush-free fast cures, even at low temperatures.

epoxy 752

It is exactly the same product as Epoxy 750, but with a thickening agent for a textured top coat or when used as an integral cove gel. Epoxy Nolovac 900

Epoxy Nolovac 900 is a solvent-free, multi- functional epoxy system designed to give outstanding resistance to a broad range of chemicals, including 98% sulfuric acid and most solvents. Novolac 900 also offers a workable pot life, blush-free cure and a low viscosity making aggregate-filled flooring easy to apply. This material can be applied down to 40°F and is available with a non-sag thickener for easy vertical application. 


Novolac 900 was designed as a user friendly, high performance material for use in a variety of chemical resistant applications. It is especially suitable in areas subject to high concentrations of acids; such as metal plating, circuit board manufacturing, chemical processing, storage areas and waste treatment plants.

Low Temperature Epoxy (L.T.E.) 

Low Temperature Epoxy (L.T.E.) is a specially formulated, 100% solids, acrylated epoxy system designed to provide positive cure down to 20ºF and extremely rapid room temperature cure. Its low viscosity contributes to easy handling, excellent substrate wetting, and the development of strong bonds to a variety of substrates including damp concrete. L.T.E. cures blush-free even under cold, damp conditions.


This material possesses a desirable combination of flexibility, chemical resistance and good impact resistance at low temperatures. It is available in a thickened paste version for easy joint and crack filling L.T.E. was developed for use in cold weather exterior concrete repair and refrigerated industrial areas where conventional epoxy systems cannot cure completely or cure too slowly to be of practical use to the coatings contractor. Because it is ready for traffic in 2-3 hours at room temperature, L.T.E. is very useful in rapid turnaround concrete repair and floor coating projects. Its low modulus characteristics make this material well suited for industrial joint and crack repair. It is the ideal primer for use under fast set polyurea systems. Polyurea materials can be applied directly to wet L.T.E. for guaranteed intercoat adhesion. It is also used as a fast set, damp surface primer under other epoxy materials and polyurethanes. The standard material will have a tendency to amber and is not suitable as a decorative top coat. A special hardener is available that eliminates this problem. Specify L.T.E. (C.S.)

Sani-Wall Wall Coating

Sani-Wall Wall Coating is a 100% solids resin system used in a variety of epoxy wall coating systems. This material cures blush-free and provides an outstanding balance of physical strength, flexibility and chemical resistance.


Sani-Wall Wall Coating has considerably lower viscosity than most competitive products providing improved handling at cooler temperatures. A fast cure hardener is available when cold weather cure is down to 40°F or accelerated room temperature cure is required.
